Dear Colleagues,

please connect to the above web address to have a look at the Preliminary Program and Abstract Book of the 6th IAEAC Biosensor Workshop. Please let us know about possible mistakes in titles, sessions, authors and participants.

We are glad and proud about the invited lectures, the interesting oral and poster communications, the cross-branch topics of our workshop, the participation of young researchers and we hope you will also enjoy all of these peculiarities together with a pleasant stay in Rome because
the eternal city is also famous for a good and mild weather in October.

In the website you will see the section “How to reach us”: several maps are available in a “zoom in” progression. Please print the last view of the map of conference and meeting point sites before coming to Rome.

You can use the “Accommodation” link to find and book hotels near to the conference and meeting point sites. In this way public transportation is not needed.

Important news” about the shape and size of the posters and manuscript submission (September 15th) to IJEAC are also reported on the website.  Please, don’t forget to fill in also the “FORM D with important information for us about your stay.

On the website, you will find also the program of the “Sunday Tour” in Orvieto, an isolated city, almost inaccessible , with its bell towers, the towers and the maze of roofs and travertine houses. The city of Orvieto exists in symbiosis with the tuff cliff on which it stands, an extraordinary example of the integration of nature by the work of man. Orvieto offers to visitors the charm of a city founded by the Etrurians, which was shaped as it is now in the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance. A cultural itinerary to discover the secrets of its churches, convents, majestic papal residences and to see the numerous parades and recollections of historical events which have been held in the streets of this Italian treasure for almost one thousand years. Because of the event “Orvieto con gusto” (Orvieto with taste) which will take place in those days, the tour will be also a tasty occasion to try the delicious cuisine of the Umbria tradition (slow food including wine, olive oil, cheese, salami and fresh pasta, mushrooms and truffles).  All of us will be happy to renounce for a day to “analytical testing” to jump into “alimentary tasting”!!!

Another link is dedicated to “Sight and seeing” in Rome and in Bracciano if you like to extend your stay in the eternal city.

We are looking forward the days of the workshop, when all of you will be here contributing with your own experience, enthusiasm and liking to the success of our workshop.

Your Roberto
